Usually works for me after 2 or 3 tries. Supposedly Bethesda is working on a fix for this. They acknowledged it at least. Strong people are harder to kill than weak people, and more useful in general -Mark Rippetoe. But what people are not understanding is I can't just load up Skyrim again to try again. Best tip I can take from this is that downloading a small mod to see if downloads are working then proceed with updating anything from now on.
User Info: Nepharen. No, i think everyone understands your problem. Now load up skyrim and start over Best thing to do to mitigate some of the damage is to login to Bethesda. Sorry this happened. It sucks, we know. User Info: simonbelmont2.
Nepharen posted We understand the issue of not being able to load the game in this case caused by the USSEP being removed due to the bug. On PC we could just edit the load order without starting the game but consoles don't have that. Sadly nuking the load order and starting over is usually the only way. Some of us have had to do that before myself included although in my case it was for different reasons.
Unless of course for some reason that's not working either in this case. I don't see why that would fail as it obviously loads the game clean without mods. Straight up sewaside. More topics from this board When you sign in to your Bethesda account on your Xbox One, you are linking your account to your Xbox One so you can download mods from Bethesda's mod. Since mods like the ones usable in Skyrim are in game content, I would suggest trying the steps outlined in our support article entitled 'My Xbox One game won't start or freezes during gameplay'.
If that does not work, I'd then try what we call a soft factory reset. It's a reset of your console back to factory settings but one that does not uninstall any of your games or apps and is a really good troubleshooting step for most issues. Also make sure that you select the option denoted reset and keep my games and apps. Follow the steps here on How to reset your console to factory defaults on Xbox One and let us know how that helps with the issue.
Wondering if anyone can shed any light on this. I am on Xbox One, normally modding isn't an issue for me, I know how to load order and how to properly install and uninstall everything properly. The issue here is, I have been unable to get new mods for the last day or so. I have cleared my reserved mod space, that didn't fix the issue I have gone as far as re-installing the game itself.
Still hasn't fixed the issue. Can someone educate me? Answered Why do I still have uncompleted tasks in my miscellaneous quests that I've completed? Answered how do you do the resto loop? Unanswered How to fix the bug, Serana won't fight with me?
